BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Love her, just don’t touch her.
That’s the advice for those meeting Killer, a sweet cat with a tough exterior living in Brooklyn’s FDNY EMS Station 57.
With more than 3,700 followers, Killer joins New York’s Bravest’s other Instagram-famous felines gaining popularity.
She wandered into the Throop Avenue EMS station one day and decided to stay, warming up to Station 57 members and garnering fans from all over, her caretaker wrote online.
Loyal Instagram admirers have sent Killer care packages filled with treats and toys, photos show, and when she’s not staking her claim over stationhouse equipment, she’s getting shout outs from fellow FDNY cats like Carlow of Yorkville’s Tower Ladder 13.
The cat’s caretaker at Station 57 could not speak on the record about Killer without permission from higher-ups. FDNY officials declined to comment.
Members of the stationhouse named her “Killer” after the cat started bringing home mice and rats, according to her Instagram account.
Her profile shows her lounging on office chairs and keeping guard over EMS gear. Check out more from Killer’s account.
