UPPER WEST SIDE — Tina Fey has set down even more roots in the neighborhood.
The actress and writer and her husband Jeff Richmond have purchased a four-bedroom apartment at 300 West End Avenue near West 74th Street right above another apartment they own in the building, the Observer first reported.
They purchased the new co-op apartment, which is nearly identical to their existing apartment on the fourth floor, for $9.5 million — $2 million over the asking price, the Observer reported.
The location of the new pad prompted speculation that Fey and Richmond are planning to create an eight-bedroom duplex for their brood.
Along with a private elevator landing and vestibule, affording the star privacy, the new apartment has two working fireplaces, 22 windows and all bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, according to the Douglas Elliman listing.
