UPPER WEST SIDE — The second batch of Citi Bikes planned for the northern part of the neighborhood have been delayed yet again, the Department of Transportation said.

The latest batch of bikes — set for stations between West 86th and 107th streets — were originally supposed to be installed this past summer before the city postponed the timing to "early 2016," the DOT said in July.

Now, the planned 18 Citi Bike stations won't come until spring, said the DOT spokeswoman, who directed DNAinfo to the operating company Motivate for further specifics.

The city's plan entailed initially opening docking stations between West 59th and 86th streets, which happened in August and September.

While the DOT works on placement of the docks and the community approval process, Motivate is in charge of installing the stations and maintaining the bikes.

Motivate did not provide comment regarding the DOT's new estimate.
