WILLIAMSBURG — A drunk man passed out in his apartment building stairwell on New Year's Eve got his iPhone and $1,070 gold chain stolen by an opportunistic woman, according to police.
The theft took place inside the 23-year-old victim's building on Division Avenue around midnight, police said.
Video footage reviewed by investigators showed a woman in her thirties with short dark hair taking the items while the man dozed.
The 23-year-old was "highly intoxicated" when he fell asleep and didn't feel a thing, according to police.
As of Tuesday the chain had not been recovered.
