ROSEBANK — A man who previously attacked a woman with a fork violated an order of protection by pointing a loaded gun at her head, according to prosecutors and reports.

Robert Colvin, 25, was arrested after he pointed the .9mm Hi-Point C9 at the woman's head inside his Tompkins Avenue home on Dec. 29 at 5:50 p.m., prosecutors said.

Officers later found the weapon on the window ledge in Colvin's bedroom.

Colvin had been arrested and had an order of protection against him on July 21, 2015, after he used a fork to attack the woman, the Staten Island Advance reported.

The order of protection is valid until 2020, prosecutors said.

Colvin was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal contempt and menacing at his arraignment on Dec. 30, according to the Staten Island District Attorney's Office.

His bail was set at $50,000 and he was due back in court on Monday, according to online court records.

His lawyer could not be reached for comment.
