HARLEM — A man stole a cellphone from an 11-year-old near a playground on Sunday, according to the NYPD.

The boy was near the playground of the Lincoln Houses at 1960 Park Ave. about 4 p.m. Sunday when a man who appeared to be in his 20s asked to borrow his phone, police said.

When the kid gave it to him, the man walked away.

"You're not getting your phone back, I don't want to have to fight you," the man told the boy while walking away, according to the NYPD.

The phone cost about $600, police said.
