BULLS HEAD — A burglar stole cash from two Staten Island eateries in the same strip mall, police said.

The man first broke into the Subway at 1650 Richmond Ave. in Bulls Head between 11 p.m. on Dec. 5 and 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 6, taking $196 from the cash register, police said.

On Dec. 30, he threw a rock through the front window of the sushi restaurant Red Ginger at 1650 Richmond Ave. at about 4 a.m. and took $250 from the cash register inside before fleeing, police said.

The suspect broke into the Subway again on Jan. 3, but was caught on surveillance video smoking a cigarette outside.

He only covered his face after he threw the rock through the front glass door at about 3:30 a.m., according to police and the video.

The suspect climbed in through the broken door and took $228 from the cash register before he left, tripping through the door on his way out, according to the video and police.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
