BLOOMFIELD — Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson will host a town hall meeting on Staten Island Monday night, the Staten Island Advance reported.

Carson — who recently had three of his top advisers quit amid a plunge in the polls — will talk at the Hilton Garden Inn starting at 7 p.m., the Advance reported.

The event is being put together by Carson volunteer and island resident Lou Savarese, who told the paper he was asked by the campaign to put the town hall together.

Attendees of the free event will get the chance to ask Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, questions about his policies.

A recent "Poll of Polls" done by CNN  found that Carson — once a top candidate — has fallen behind Donald Trump, Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio in the race to become the Republican candidate for the 2016 presidential election.

The town hall will start at 7 p.m., with doors opening at the Persimmon Room of the hotel at 6 p.m., the Advance reported.
