LOWER EAST SIDE — A man knocked an 88-year-old woman to the ground before robbing her earlier this week, police said.

The victim was entering 100 Suffolk St. at about 1 p.m. on Dec. 28 when the suspect forced her to the ground and grabbed her purse containing $500 cash and a $116 money order, as well as her ID, house keys, benefit card, MetroCard and blood pressure pills, police said.

The victim told police she was not injured, according to the NYPD.

A description for the suspect was not available, police said.

Other recent crimes in the 7th Precinct include:

► A man snatched a 28-year-old woman’s rose gold iPhone 6 at the corner of Henry and Rutgers streets as she was heading home from a friend’s house at about 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve, police said.

The thief then pushed her to the ground, bruising her right elbow, and fled the scene on foot, heading northbound on Rutgers Street, according to the NYPD.

Police described the thief as a 5-foot-10 man weighing about 150 pounds with black curly or wavy hair. He was about 20 years old, police said.

► A thief snatched a black iPhone from a 50-year-old man’s hand as he was talking on it in front of 52 Canal St. at about 12:30 a.m. on Christmas Day, police said.

The male suspect then fled on a bike toward Allen Street, police said.
