MIDWOOD — Two teens who were captured on camera beating a man in a robbery earlier this week have been arrested, police said.
Eldin Sabovic, 17, and Baskim Huseinovic, 19, were caught on New Year's Eve for robbing the 55-year-old man in front of 809 Avenue M, near East Eighth Street, at about 12:48 a.m. on Dec. 28, the NYPD said.
Police said the teens approached the man from behind before one of them punched the victim, knocked him down and continued to punch and kick him.
Both suspects went through the man’s wallet before fleeing on Avenue M toward Ocean Parkway, according to the NYPD.
Police said the man was treated at Maimonides Hospital for scratches and bruises on his head, knees and hands.
Following the incident, officials offered up to $4,000 for information about the suspects.
Sabovic and Huseinovic, who are both from Midwood, were charged with robbery and assault, according to the NYPD.
