WILLIAMSBURG — A burglar took $1,860 in electronics from an apartment on South 2nd Street after a drunken man let the stranger into his home and passed out on Christmas Eve, according to police.

The 35-year-old victim, whose two roommates were out of town for the holidays, woke on Christmas day after a night at the bar and found that an iPhone, an iPad, a MacBook Air and Apple TV worth nearly $2,000 were missing from the living room, police said.

The man told police that the details of the previous evening were a little foggy once he started drinking. He did remember meeting a skinny man at some point in the night and that he also recalled inviting the man inside his apartment, police said.

The man was either bald or had short curly hair, according to the police report.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday, officials said.
