BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police are searching for a man they say groped a teen on the Franklin Avenue shuttle in October.

The suspect approached the 16-year-old girl on board a southbound S train as it was approaching the Franklin Avenue station around 3 p.m. on Oct. 13, officials said.

He placed both of his arms around her and grabbed her breast, causing her shirt to rip, according to police.

The man fled the train when it pulled into the Brooklyn Botanic Garden station, police said.

The NYPD released photos of the suspect Wednesday, showing him wearing a black hooded sweater, blue jeans and carrying a black plastic bag.

Police describe him as around 40 years old, 5-foot-4, weighing 150 pounds with brown eyes and short, brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477).
