While speaking at an event on Times Square security for New Year's Eve, Police Commissioner William Bratton confirmed that Police Officer Juan Feliciano, 44, died from a heart attack.

The incident happened around 9:25 a.m. Tuesday while Feliciano was delivering NYPD bicycles to a repair shop at the field, according to an NYPD spokesperson.
