UPPER EAST SIDE — A two-alarm fire broke out in a neighborhood brownstone Monday evening, injuring one person according to the FDNY.

The fire started on the second floor of 347 E. 84th St. between First and Second avenues roughly 6:30 p.m. It was under control about an hour later, fire officials said.

One person suffered a minor injury in the fire but that individual was not taken to the hospital, according to an FDNY spokesman.
