Police Probing Death of Man Found on Greenpoint Street Corner, NYPD Says

GREENPOINT — Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found on a Brooklyn street corner Thursday morning, the NYPD said.

The man, believed to be between 65-75 years old, was discovered by a passerby on West Street and Greenpoint Avenue, a block from the river, about 10:40 a.m., police sources said.

EMS responded and pronounced him dead. There was no apparent trauma to the body.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, police said.
