SOUTH OZONE PARK —  A man found wandering down the runway at JFK Airport told workers he was trying to find the A train, sources said.

The bizarre episode unfolded near Terminal 8 on Dec. 13 when an airport worker noticed the man on the taxiway, Port Authority officials said.

“I’m looking for the A train,” the man told the worker, according to sources.

He then added, ‘Don’t say s--- about this,” and fled, they said.

Port Authority police responded, but the suspect took off before they arrived. Investigators swept the area with canines before deeming it safe, officials said.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday.

The story was first reported by NBC New York.
