QUEENS — A burglar swiped $2,000 in electronics and jewelry from a Rego Park apartment, police said.
The suspect entered the first-floor apartment, near 63rd Drive and Fitchett Street, through the rear window around 7 p.m. Sunday, the NYPD said.
Once inside, he grabbed a number of electronic items including a TV, laptop and iPad, as well as several bracelets and $60 in cash before fleeing through the door, according to the NYPD.
Police described the suspect as approximately 45 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He was wearing a black hat, gray coat and tan pants.
