MARBLE HILL — A woman was found dead in her apartment with several stab wounds, the NYPD said.
The 36-year-old woman's lifeless body was discovered inside the Marble Hill Houses, on West 225th Street and Broadway, Tuesday about 4 p.m. after a neighbor smelled a foul odor emanating from her apartment, police said.
“She was sitting in a chair slumped to one side,” a police source said.
The Medical Examiner will determine how she died, the NYPD said.
