UPPER WEST SIDE — There are plenty of options for ringing in the New Year close to home — whether you want to do something with the kids, a chance to reflect, a boozy celebration or a dance party.

Here are your best bets for celebrating New Year's Eve in the neighborhood, sparing yourself the money and hassle of a long commute home.

Now in its 31st year, the New Year's Eve Concert for Peace at the cathedral will honor its founder Leonard Bernstein this year. A limited number of general admission tickets will be available on a first-come first-served basis.

La Vie Parisienne at the New York Philharmonic
David Geffen Hall, 10 Lincoln Center Plaza, at West 65th Street

Alan Gilbert conducts the New York Philharmonic's version of a love letter to Paris, including classics from “La Vie en rose” to Saint-Saëns’s Carnival of the Animals to Offenbach’s Can-Can. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets cost between $89 and $275.

Pan-American Fiesta
Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, Broadway at West 60th Street

Grammy Award winner Paquito D’Rivera and his quintet will play jazz inspired by Cuban, Brazilian, Venezuelan, Martiniquean, Puerto Rican, Austrian, French, Mexican and German music. Tickets are $185 at 7:30 p.m. and $295 at 11 p.m. The ticket price for both shows includes a three-course meal, and tickets for the 11 p.m. performance include a midnight Champagne toast.
