UPPER EAST SIDE — Lookin' to get Daft "Drunk"?

A mixologist's love for Daft Punk inspired the signature cocktail for this new farm-to-table eatery on Second Avenue.

Copper Kettle Kitchen's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" is a pink jasmine cocktail made with Spring44's Mountain Gin, according to mixologist Josh Mazza.

"I named it that way completely because I love Daft Punk," Mazza said, adding that the title also adds a masculinity to an otherwise feminine drink.

Copper Kettle opened at 1471 Second Ave., between 76th and 77th streets at the end of November, serving a mix of whimsical cocktails like its "Gotham is Burning" Manhattan, made with Elijah Craig bourbon, sweet vermouth, bitters and distilled charcoal.

Mazza, who helped launch The Gilroy nearby, said the charcoal taste is distilled in what he calls "wood vinegar," which is made by collecting the condensation produced inside a kiln in France.

"It has an incredible freshness to it that is hard to capture in smoke," Mazza told DNAinfo New York.

The restaurant will change its drink menu each season.

"I don’t think any restaurant in this day and age should be delivering a sub-par drink program," he said. "We have the talent, we have educated consumers, and we have guests now expecting quality cocktails."

Copper Kettle Kitchen's food menu, designed by chef and owner Joseph D' Angelo, is divided into several options like "dips and flats for the table" — meant to be eaten while dinner is decided — "greens & grains," "daily presses," which are sandwiches, comfort foods and features for two.

The eatery is meant to be a place where you can order mac n' cheese and (free range) chicken pot pie, or go fancy with a duck breast confit or braised short rib, according to a spokeswoman for the restaurant.

Copper Kettle opened its first location in Hartsdale, N.Y.

Copper Kettle Kitchen is open Monday through Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m. to midnight and on Sunday, from 5 to 9 p.m.

Happy hours are during the week from 5 to 7 p.m.
