QUEENS — A brazen pair of robbers punched a man in the face and then forced him to withdraw money from an ATM inside a South Jamaica bodega last month, police said.
A man and a woman walked into the store on Baisley Boulevard, near 161st Street, on Nov. 19 around 6 p.m. The duo then approached the 34-year-old victim, punched him in the face and forced him to withdraw $100 from an ATM, according to the NYPD, which on Thursday released surveillance camera footage showing the suspects at the bodega.
The pair then took the money and fled on foot, police said.
The victim, who suffered bruising to his face, refused medical attention at the scene, officials said.
