BROOKLYN — A probationary city firefighter arrested for sending a lewd photo and a video of himself to a teenage girl has been fired from the department, police and the FDNY said.

Philip Trnka, 28, allegedly sent the image and video to a 14-year-old girl. He was assigned to a firehouse in Brooklyn and had only been on the job for six months, police and fire officials said.

He was charged with sending indecent material to a minor and acting in a manner injurious to a child, the NYPD said.

He was off duty and in Sheepshead Bay at the time of his arrest.

“His employment with the FDNY has been terminated,” a a Fire Department spokeswoman said.
