STATEN ISLAND — A man was arrested Monday and charged with the murder of a 23-year-old shot in the head on a Mariners Harbor street last month, police said.
Derrick Felder, 24, of Clifton, was charged with murder, assault, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon in the Nov. 28 shooting death of Tyquan Pass, the NYPD said.
Pass, of West Brighton, was attacked across the street from 323 Jersey St., near Taft Avenue, shortly after midnight. Police found him with a gunshot wound to his head.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Felder has been arrested several times before, most recently in September for criminal sale of a controlled substance and resisting arrest, according to online court records.
