EAST WILLIAMSBURG — A robber kicked in a couple's front door and robbed them of their laptop at gunpoint, police said.

The woman and her husband were dozing in separate rooms in their home on Metropolitan Avenue near Olive Street about 2:30 a.m., when the 33-year-old woman who lives there was awoken by a loud noise coming from the living room, authorities said.

She jumped out of bed and saw a stranger in her living room pointing a gun at her, according to the NYPD.

"Get back, get back," the robber shouted at the woman, who screamed for her 44-year-old husband who woke up in time to see the man flee, police said.

The suspect ran out of the house, grabbing a $600 MacBook on his way out, according to the NYPD.

The woman was not wearing her prescription eyeglasses at the time of the robbery and told police she wouldn't be able to identify the intruder.

No one had been arrested for the incident as of Tuesday, police said.
