EAST HARLEM — This is not how you get out of a parking ticket.

Ron Sawney, 39, who was arrested last year for trashing a bodega over a malfunctioning lottery terminal, tried to stop a traffic officer from writing him a ticket by blocking her from the car and knocking the glasses from her face, according to the NYPD.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound man would not move out of the way, despite the ticket agent's numerous requests and when she got closer to his car, which was parked at First Avenue and 119th Street, he assaulted her, according to the Manhattan District Attorney.

This is the second time this year Sawney has let his emotions get the best of him.

In May, he attacked two employees because a Lotto machine wasn't working. He pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and was sentenced to 15 days in jail.

The jackpot at the time was up to $126 million.

Sawney's lawyer did not immediately respond to questions about the traffic officer case.

Because the officer is a city worker, Sawney was charged with a felony count of attempted assault, according to the police. He was also charged with harassment and obstructing governmental administration, records show.

He was released without bail and is due back in court Feb. 1.
