CHELSEA — The sommelier behind French wine bar Le Pif on the Upper West Side is bringing the spot's vision of “accessible” French cuisine to Chelsea.

Like its counterpart at Broadway and 71st Street, Le Pif at 465 W. 23rd St., between Ninth and 10th avenues, will feature French wines paired with cheese, charcuterie and Parisian staples like the croque monsieur and bouef bourguignon.

But the Chelsea outpost, unlike the Upper West Side spot, will be open for weekday lunches in addition to weekend brunch and dinner.

Sommelier Arnaud Lecamus, one of Le Pif’s co-founders, has curated a list of 35 wines by the glass and 80 bottles, representing but not limited to the Loire Valley, Bordeaux and Burgundy.

“Arnaud is looking to take the French wine bar experience back to its roots — dispelling the notion that French wine and food are intimidating and pricey,” Le Pif said in a statement.

Although the Chelsea location has yet to release a menu, the Upper West Side eatery offers a choice of two different items for $20 during weekend brunches, while dinner entrees range in price from $12 to $26.

Le Pif’s Chelsea location will seat 45, with a 10-seat bar and extra counter seating.

The restaurant also plans to eventually host wine classes each month that “focus on a specific region, taking customers on a journey through French wine country.”

The opening, which was originally slated for last spring, was pushed to Dec. 16 and has been delayed once again due to construction issues, but will open before the end of the year, a manager at the Upper West Side location said.
