MIDTOWN SOUTH — This workout is all the rave.

305 Fitness, a company offering rave-inspired cardio workouts with real DJs, will open a new studio in the basement level of 33 E. 33rd St., between Madison and Park avenues, in January.

"This space is going to blow their minds when they see the neon sign, walk inside and descend into a thumping, bumping euphoria," said Sadie Kurzban, the 25 year-old owner of 305 Fitness.

Every class at 305 Fitness features a live DJ who spins tunes as an instructor leads the group through the heart-pumping dance moves.

With the goal of sculpting an enviable “dancer’s body,” the class puts students through the wringer with an hour of high-intensity cardio and muscle-toning exercises — all in tune to the DJ’s playlist, which ranges from house music to “guilty-pleasure pop,” Kurzban said.

The workout is the brainchild of Kurzban, a Miami native — 305 is her home area code — and Brown University graduate who based her new discipline on the sweaty, dancey climes of her hometown.

Kurzban opened her first location in Greenwich Village in 2014.

“Everybody knows Miami is a super fun, sexy place to be, and all that amazing stuff is inherent to everything we do,” she said.

Kurzban, who got her start teaching exercise classes in college, personally teaches about five classes per week, and employs another 20 instructors (and 13 DJs) to teach classes in the Greenwich Village studio and a studio that opened recently in Washington, D.C.

She was planning her next move, when a space in Midtown jumped out at her, she said.

“In Midtown, everyone’s wearing a suit and is all buttoned up, and there are so many people who really need this” Kurzban said.
