STATEN ISLAND — One man died and another was injured early Monday morning in a shooting in Clifton, police said.

Officers responded to calls of an assault at 4:12 a.m. at Tompkins and Vanderbilt avenues where they found the two men shot, the NYPD said.

Raquan Jenkins, 25, who had a gunshot wound to the torso, was taken to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

A 17-year-old was shot in the arm and taken to the same hospital, where he's listed in stable condition, police said.
