BUSHWICK — They're putting the "X" in Xmas.

This weekend, Bizarre Bushwick at 12 Jefferson St. will host three performances of "Smutcracker," a raunchy and irreverent take on the holiday classic featuring "acrobatics, stilts, fire [and] drag," according to organizer Scott Dennis, 25, who will also perform in the show.

"It's going to be funny, it's going to be sexy, it's going be erotic, it's going to be fiery," said Dennis, otherwise known as Madame Vivian V, of the local burlesque and drag series Bordello. "[You'll] see acts that [you'll] never see again."

The evening will loosely follow the plot of the classic "Nutcracker" ballet, Dennis explained, with lead character Clara (played by Cirque de Soleil dancer Hannah Webber) receiving a "smutcracker" as a gift from a relative.

Clara then drifts into a dream in which the smutcracker — played by John O'Mahoney, whose "abs have abs," Dennis joked — comes to life and falls in love with her.

The smutcracker turns out to be "incredibly kinky," and Clara "just isn't ready for that," Dennis noted.

Before she and the smutcracker can reach sexual equilibrium, Clara must to go on a journey of sexual exploration, Dennis said.

The evening will feature 12 performers, including a trio of fire-spinning drag queens, acrobats and dancers.

"The closing act is one of the hottest things you've ever seen," said Dennis, describing it as a "semi-choreographed, orgy-performance that showcases every performer in the show."

Tickets for "Smutcracker" are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Shows are on Saturday at 10 p.m. and on Sunday at 1 p.m. (when tickets are donation-based) and another at 10 p.m.

Dennis is raising money to defray the costs of tickets with an IndieGoGo campaign. If you donate to the campaign or buy a ticket you can also get a link to stream the show live if you can't make it in person.
