BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a woman suspected of stealing more than $19,000 from another woman's bank account in South Brooklyn.

On three occasions in September, the suspect entered Chase Bank branches and withdrew money from the 83-year-old victim's bank account, stealing thousands of dollars each time, police said.

The first incident happened Sept. 22 at a Chase branch at 6510 Avenue U in Mill Basin, where the suspect withdrew $7,200 from the illegally accessed account.

On Sept. 24, the suspect repeated the crime at a Chase branch at 1901 86th St. in Bensonhurst, where she withdrew $7,500 in stolen cash.

The following day, the suspect took out an additional $4,500 from the victim's account at a Chase branch on 1101 Avenue J in Midwood.

During her third heist, the woman was captured on surveillance camera, police said. In that photo she is wearing beige shorts, a gray T-shirt and a droopy sun hat, which partially obscures her face.
