UPPER WEST SIDE — A man was robbed at gunpoint of $2,000 cash outside Central Park early Thursday by a pair of thieves who also swiped his cell phone and sneakers, police sources said.
The 33-year-old victim was walking on Central Park West and West 70th Street about 3:20 a.m. when he was robbed by two men, one of whom showed a gun, police said.
The victim handed over the wad of cash as well as his shoes and phone, sources said.
The thieves fled in an unknown direction, the NYPD said.
No arrests have been made.
