TRIBECA — Three massive, colorful arrows will soon be jutting out of Capsouto Park, in the name of art.

The huge arrows, which measure 22 feet, 15 feet and 9 feet, are the brainchild of Upper West Side artist Curtis Wallin.

The sculptures, made from aluminum, steel and fiberglass, are called "Diana" — in homage to the sculpture of "Diana," the Roman goddess of the hunt, that once towered over Madison Square Park.

"It's as though 'Diana' herself shot those arrows, and now, many, many years later, they've landed in the park," Wallin said.

The city-sponsored artwork will be on display in the triangular park at the intersection of Canal, Varick and Laight streets, beginning in April. They should remain on exhibit for about a year, Wallin said.
