HARLEM — Former Mouseketeer Marque 'Tate' Lynche, who co-stared with Britney Spears and Ryan Gosling in the 1990's "All New Mickey Mouse Club," was found dead in his Harlem apartment on Sunday, an NYPD spokesman said.

Lynche's roommate found him dead inside their 501 W. 151st St. apartment around noon and called the police.

The former child star's death was deemed suspicious by the police and the NYPD is currently investigating it, an NYPD spokesman said.

The medical examiner's office was still trying to determine the cause of Lynche's death.

Lynche appeared on the show from 1993 to 1995, along side Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera.

In 2004, the St. Petersburg, Fla., native made it to the semi-final of "American Idol." He then performed as Simba in Broadway's "The Lion King" and as Tyrone in a production of "Fame."

Fans of the former Mouseketeer mourned his death on social media.

"Dear Marque, (...) The news of your passing spread through your [Always In The Club] siblings rapidly, overwhelming each one with a sense of shock. Now as the evening has fallen, sadness is overtaking the shock. We are all heartbroken," read a statement on Always In The Club Facebook page, a page dedicated to former Mouseketeers.
