MIDTOWN — Police have released an image of a suspect wanted for a string of Manhattan bank robberies dating back to October.

Devon English, 25, has robbed four different banks by passing demand notes to tellers and then making off with wads of cash, the NYPD said.

The heists began Oct. 2 around 3:15 p.m. at the People’s United Bank on 46th Street and Park Avenue when he passed a note to a teller and escaped with about $4,800, police said.

He tried again at the PNC Bank on Madison Avenue, near 43rd Street, Nov. 12 about 7:50 a.m., but a teller refused his demand and English walked away empty-handed, the NYPD said.

Minutes later, he tried again at the People’s United Bank just blocks away and made off with $7,000, police said.

The following week, he robbed the Santander Bank on Madison Avenue and 43rd Street and fled with about $4,500, the NYPD said.

On Wednesday, he robbed a TD Bank on Seventh Avenue near 36th Street about 12:30 p.m., police said.

English is about 6-feet tall and 170 pounds.
