EAST WILLIAMSBURG — A man fleeing three knife-wielding robbers ran into the street and was struck by an oncoming vehicle earlier this month, authorities said.

The victim broke his hand, sliced open the back of his head, suffered a herniated disc and pinched a nerve in his lower back, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney's office.

Later police rounded up 32-year-old Tahmel Greenidge, 17-year-old Jose Santos and a 15-year-old whose name was not released. Prosecutors charged Greenidge and Santos with a slew of charges including attempted robbery, menacing, assault and harassment.

The whole incident was captured by security cameras at the scene, according to the DA.

The attempted robbery turned car accident unfurled in broad daylight on Dec. 2 at 11:20 a.m. in the morning, according to police.

The 36-year-old victim was walking along Meserole Street towards Bushwick Avenue when he passed three men who turned towards him, one of them brandishing a knife, police said.

"Run it, this is a jack," the man holding the knife said, then they chased the man into the street.

No information about their lawyers was immediately available though both were due back in court on Wednesday, according to court records.
