EAST VILLAGE — Police are looking for two men suspected of stabbing a man in the back early Saturday morning.

The two men stabbed the 49-year-old victim several times as he was standing in front of 311 E. 9th St. around 4:40 a.m. on Dec. 5, police said.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated for his wounds and released, officials said.

It was unclear if the victim knew his attackers, an NYPD spokesman said.

The two men were caught on a surveillance camera less than 45 minutes after the stabbing. The video shows them them talking and laughing near a sign that reads "Skyline Spa" before entering a nearby building. Both are wearing beige coats.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
