BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A man was shot in the face during a dispute on Gates Avenue Monday night, police said.

The suspect fired at the 25-year-old victim at 685 Gates Ave., near Marcus Garvey Boulevard, roughly 10:20 p.m., according to officials. The victim was struck once in his face.

Emergency responders transported him to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, according to an NYPD spokesman.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning. The suspected shooter, who police describe as a man wearing a red shirt, fled the scene in a gold-colored sedan, officials said.

Police had no further details. The investigation is ongoing.
