EAST HARLEM — He left the residents of two buildings out to dry.

A man broke open two laundry card machines in separate buildings and cleaned out all the cash inside, according to the NYPD.

The break-ins happened less than an hour apart on Nov. 30. The first one at 58 E. 132nd St. and 3:15 p.m. and the second at 58 E. 131st St. at 4 p.m., police said.

The buildings’ super noticed something was wrong when a tenant on 132nd Street complained the card machine wasn’t working. When he went to fix it, he realized it had been broken into, he told police.

Police did not say how much money was in the two machines.

Surveillance footage shows a man who looks about 5-foot-8, 170 pounds with short black hair follow a tenant into the building and go straight to the laundry room, according to the NYPD.

Police believe he may have an accomplice.
