By Aidan Gardiner | December 3, 2015 11:04am

BROOKLYN — An elderly woman died Wednesday, two days after she was struck by a car in Sheepshead Bay, police said.

Bella Markowitz, 85, was crossing northeast over Kings Highway at East 16th Street when a southbound 2011 Lexus L57 on East 16th took a left onto the highway and struck her, NYPD officials said.

Markowitz, of Midwood, was taken to Methodist Hospital where she died Wednesday, police said.

The Lexus' driver, a 37-year-old woman whose name was not immediately released, remained on the scene, police said.

The driver wasn't immediately charged, but police said the investigation is ongoing.
