BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Two women allegedly attacked an MTA worker at a Brooklyn subway station after they discovered a MetroCard machine wasn’t working, police said.

The 48-year-old employee was cleaning near the machine on the northbound side of the Nostrand Avenue stop just before 9 a.m. on Nov. 9, officials said.

The two suspects started arguing with the victim when the machine did not work, with one suspect telling the worker, “I should kill you,” according to an NYPD spokesman.

One woman struck the victim in the face with a purse, and the other punched the worker, police said.

The MTA employee was taken to Interfaith Medical Center in stable condition with pain to her lip and head, according to officials.

Police released surveillance video of the suspects Tuesday.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
