BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police are searching for two men who allegedly skipped out on paying their cab fare and threatened the driver at gunpoint.

The 57-year-old livery cab driver picked up the passengers at the intersection of Fulton Street and Franklin Avenue roughly 10 p.m. on Nov. 25, according to officials.

The pair rode to Gates and Marcy avenues, where they asked the driver for change for $20, an NYPD spokesman said.

The suspects and driver exchanged money, but when the passengers exited the car, the fare hadn’t been paid, police said.

The driver followed the men into a deli at 784 Marcy Ave. near Gates Avenue in order to get paid, according to officials.

When the suspects left the deli, the driver continued to pursue them until they reached the front of 289A Monroe St., a block away, according to police.

Once there, one suspect took out a gun and threatened to shoot the driver, police said.

The pair fled in an unknown direction and no injuries were reported.

Police released surveillance video of the suspects Wednesday. One man is described as wearing an orange hat with white headphones, a green jacket with a hood, and blue jeans.

Officials described the second suspect as wearing a black baseball cap with white lettering, a black jacket, blue jeans, and brown boots.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
