EAST WILLIAMSBURG — A woman who left her front door unlocked thought she was dreaming when she saw a shadow crawling across her bedroom floor early on the morning of Nov. 24, according to police.

Turns out it was a burglar sneaking across her bedroom at around 3 a.m., police said.

When the 29-year-old, who lives near Leonard and Devoe streets, woke up she realized she was missing $800 in cash, her driver's license, credit card, keys, a $150 Baggu tote bag and a $20 bath towel, police said.

As of Tuesday, the stealthy thief had not been apprehended and none of her belongings were recuperated, according to police.
