BROOKLYN — Police are looking for two bearded, Yankee hat-wearing men who used card-reading devices to get debit card numbers from banks in Brooklyn and Queens this past spring, according to the NYPD.
The men got at least 20 debit numbers between April 16 and June 15, which they used to make fraudulent cards and withdraw money from the victims’ bank accounts, police said.
The banks were in and around Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Richmond Hill, Williamsburg, Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, Bay Ridge and Borough Park.
