MIDTOWN — The NYPD deployed officers to Planned Parenthood locations in the city as a precaution after a shooting in Colorado Springs Friday afternoon, according to police.

At least four officers have reportedly been injured in a gun battle with a shooter in a Planned Parenthood in Colorado.

A Colorado Springs police spokeswoman said during a press conference she was unsure of the shooter's motives.

“We don’t have anything about this individual’s mentality,” the officer told reporters near the Planned Parenthood.

The NYPD said there are no "specific threats to any New York City locations,” and that they were sending new counterterrorism units to guard clinics as a precautionary measure.
