While this Bergen Street pizzeria opened its doors earlier this year, the restaurant began serving cocktails only in October when it finally celebrated its official opening. Numero 28 has locations across the city and brought in mixologist Testuo Hasegawa to craft this location's cocktail menu, featuring drinks like “M.L.C” made with Hendrick’s Gin, pineapple, lime, homemade lime cordial, mint and cucumber, and “Hustler” with bourbon, calvados, sherry, cocchi Americano and rhubarb.

The popular SoHo restaurant Mezzogiorno has opened a second outpost uptown, on Broadway at West 107th Street. There’s a full range of grilled meats and fish in the $22 to $30 range, but those wanting a more affordable meal can dive into the extensive pizza menu. The uptown restaurant opened this fall and is currently open for dinner after 5 p.m.

Chef Erik Ramirez, formerly of Eleven Madison, brings a taste of Peru to Brooklyn with small plates restaurant Llama Inn. Share dishes like fluke ceviche or goat neck with red quinoa, or go big with a whole roasted chicken or beef tenderloin with scallion pancake. The new restaurant will start off serving dinner and expand into brunch with “fun, stoner food,” according to the owner.

This new restaurant specializes in traditional Thai dishes based on home recipes. Favorites include crispy pork belly and shrimp Pad Thai. They also offer homemade coconut ice cream. Entrees cost between $10 and $10.

Named after the newspaper a co-owner’s great-great grandfather founded in the early 20th century, as well as a traditional French ham-and-butter sandwich, Le Petit Parisien serves about a dozen sandwiches named after some of the country’s best-known countrymen, including Charles de Gaulle, Edith Piaf and Jacque Cousteau.
