MANHATTAN — A worker was unconscious after he fell off a ladder and down a hole at a Midtown construction site, officials said.

The man, whose name and age were not immediately released, was working at 116 W. 58th St., near Sixth Avenue, about 9:40 a.m., when he fell, FDNY and DOB officials said.

He was unconscious when medics took him to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, FDNY officials said. His condition was not immediately clear.

Wednesday, the builders was cited for unsafe work conditions because the lights weren't working, according to Department of Buildings records for the building.

A company operating on the site, JDS Construction Group, did not immediately return requests for comment.
