LOWER EAST SIDE — Two robbers mugged a teen last week as he was heading to the store, police said.

The 17-year-old boy was walking along Pitt Street at 2:38 a.m. on Nov. 10 when a woman approached him from behind a dumpster at Stanton Street and asked him for a light, police said.

A man then came up behind the teen and put a gun to his head, saying “You know what time it is,” according to the NYPD. The 17-year-old gave the man $338 in cash and a benefit card worth $129, police said, while the man ordered him to get on the ground and “stay right there” for five to 10 minutes.

The teen told police the woman left after he had been on the ground for 10 to 15 minutes, according to the NYPD.

Police said the woman was 5-foot-6 and about 27 years old. No further description was given for the male robber.
