QUEENS — An off-duty police officer was arrested Monday night for hitting his daughter with a belt, NYPD officials said.

Larry Roberts, 45, hit his daughter, who reported it to her school, which then contacted police, an NYPD spokesman said. The girl's name and age were not released.

Roberts was arrested about 10:30 p.m. in the 113th Precinct, which covers South Jamaica and South Ozone Park, police said.

He faces charges of assault, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment, police said.
