FINANCIAL DISTRICT — It was a hairbrained heist.
A thief stole $1,026 worth of hairstyling products — including six Con Air hair straighteners, four curling irons, and five sets of hair rollers — from a Wall Street Duane Reade on Nov. 11, police said.
The male suspect quickly stuffed a total of 27 items into a black plastic bag at about 6:30 a.m. and then fled the 40 Wall St. store, police said.
Duane Reade did not immediately return a request for comment.
