NEW YORK CITY — Why would you go to a restaurant with smiling wait staff when you can eat a full Thanksgiving feast in your cramped apartment?

The answer is simple: There's nothing better than falling into a food coma on the couch wearing sweatpants.

There are plenty of New York City restaurants that can help you live this dream. But don't forget to get your orders in before the cutoff dates.

Here are five places where you can order Thanksgiving meals for delivery or pickup:

Fletcher's Brooklyn Barbecue at 433 3rd Ave. in Gowanus

Price: $220 and feeds 6-10 people

A turkey from Fletcher's comes by way of barbecue pits in Gowanus, giving it the flavor of red oak and sugar maple. The feast is completed with gravy, collard greens and sausage, stuffing and cranberry sauce.

Blossom on Columbus at 507 Columbus Ave. on the Upper West Side

Price: $70 for adults and $40 for children
Order by: Blossom will take orders on the day, but would appreciate pre-ordering for parties of four or more.

Forget the turkey all together and go vegan at Blossom on Columbus. Max out your daily dose of vegetables with dishes such as pine nut crusted eggplant, butternut squash gnocchi and walnut crust seitan.
